Kronos Racing : a fantastic start of the 2009 season !
Kronos Racing started the 2009 season in the same way as it finished the 2008 edition: with an outstanding victory! After the one-two in the Rallye du Valais, last race of the IRC 2008 (with a one-two for Loix and Vouilloz and the French driver becoming IRC champion) the team continued on its victorious strike in the Monte Carlo Rally, where BF Goodrich driver, Sébastien Ogier took the spoils in front of Freddy Loix.
The Peugeot 207 S2000 victory series continued, with Kris Meeke claiming the number one result for the Naninnes team in the Curitiba Rally (with team mate Nicolas Vouilloz coming second).

After two races, Freddy Loix leads the 2009 IRC championship ranking.
The cars will return from their trip to Brazil and will arrive back home in the port of Antwerp on April 12th.  The cars will be collected there and the planned tests will start immediately. Indeed, the next IRC rendezvous will be the Rally of the Azores, which will be run during the last week end of April.

This season, Kronos handles no less than 5 Peugeots 207 S2000: three of them participate in the IRC championship, Loix and Vouilloz defending the Peugeot Belgium-Luxembourg colours and Chris Meeke doing the same for Peugeot UK.
The 4th Peugeot 207 will participate in a limited number of IRC races and will each time be given to the local BF Goodrich driver, chosen by the professional motor sport journalists of the country in which the event is organised. Sébastien Ogier was the Goodrich driver in Monte Carlo and shortly the Belgian press will chose who will be at the wheel of the car during the Belgian IRC race, the Ypres Westhoek Rally (19th-21st June).

Last but not least, the 5th Peugeot 207 participates in the Middle East Championship in the hands of Saudi driver Yazeed Al Rahji. Al Rahji finished 2nd in Qatar, but unfortunately had to retire in Kuwait with the finish in sight.

Next race in this championship will be the Rally of Syria (18th-20th June)
